Etisalat 3.5G MobileCAM service provides anytime, anywhere access to video footage and video call services to a home or office and allows customers to hold a conversation through its installed microphone and speaker.

MobileCAM is a wireless camera that can be placed literally anywhere and accessed from a 3.5G-enabled mobile phone.

The service is extremely versatile and allows homeowners to keep track of their properties. Managers can also monitor their businesses from around the world.

The service also offers peace of mind to parents away from home as they can now monitor their children.

Khalifa Al Shamsi, added: "Etisalat is the first operator to launch MobileCAM in the country, which allows the customers to enjoy the benefits of the service even while roaming with Etisalat's 58 international roaming partners in 34 countries".

The MobileCAM device can be purchased at any Etisalat Business Center or at key retailers around the UAE.

Customers can use the Mobile Cam through a prepaid or postpaid 3.5G SIM card and can activate the device by calling the camera from a 3.5G or 3.5G-enabled handset.

The service comes with no subscription charges or installation fees.

Etisalat has taken great care to ensure the security of its service.

Only 20 pre-set phones will be allowed to access the device, which is also protected by a pin-code.

Etisalat 3.5G MobileCAM also has an automatic night mode option, an option to record footage, zooming and pan-tilt functionality and provides an all-round view.
