City Properties launches advanced electronic services in cooperation with Emirates NBD and Network International

In line with its commitment to continuously improve customer service, City Properties, one of the leading property management companies in the UAE has launched a series of advanced electronic services in cooperation with Emirates NBD and Network International.
The ground breaking services include online postponement of cheques, online payment against cheques, online booking of apartments and online rent deposit payment, as well as viewing your current and future payments.
With this move, City Properties has become the first property management company to implement these advanced payment services in the country. The announcement came at a press conference held today at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Dubai.
The advanced online services will link the City Property's website to the online payment facilities that Emirates NBD and Network International have in place.
The customer is provided with two payment options; one by using the e-debit payment mechanism, i.e. to pay directly from his bank account, and two by using the credit card system.
Customers who wish to pay from their credit cards, City Properties website will link them to the Payment Gateway; the online payment service powered by Network International, and provides the convenience of paying the required amount from the customer's credit card.
The Electronic Debit Service (e-debit) was introduced by Emirates Bank, which is an Emirates NBD Company in 2002 as the ultimate direct debit solution, which completes the e-commerce cycle.
E-debit, powered by Network International, is an online payment mechanism that enables real-time transfer of funds from an Emirates NBD customer's account to the e-merchant account.
The customer makes use of a virtual wallet to pay for his/her purchase.
The e-debit service is available to all account holders of Emirates Bank, Emirates Islamic Bank and meBANK.
The customers can make the payments by using their respective online internet banking credentials.
Speaking at the conference, Mr. Abdullah Al Shaibani, Chairman of City Properties said: "The decision to implement these advanced services will only add value to our customer service, provide convenience of payment to our customers and save their time. We are glad to join hands with Emirates NBD and Network International to provide a reliable, secure and fast online service to our valued customers".
In addition to the advanced payment options, City Properties introduced their latest services which include online request for maintenance, viewing the layout of the apartment online, its area and location.
In addition, customers can now register their requests online and track their status step by step.
Mr. Abdullah Qassem, General Manager IT, Operations and Administration at Emirates NBD and Chairman of Network International commented on the launch of the new payment services and said: "Emirates NBD has been created to become the financial partner of choice for customers from the public and private sector. Our partnership with City Properties comes in line with our strategy to adopt the best and latest technologies which will only enhance the quality of our services and provide convenience and value addition to our customers".
Network International, is an Emirates NBD company and is considered the preferred card solution provider located in the UAE and the first independent vendor certified by both Visa & MasterCard for card payments in the Middle East.
It is the only third party processing vendor in the region which is capable of providing banks, the retail industry and financial institutions with complete EMV certified solutions as they migrate to EMV SmartCard technology.
