The awards were presented during a ceremony held last night.
Wild Wadi Water Park brought home the coveted Gold Award (the highest accreditation a company can receive), and is one of only 15 companies who have won this category since the commencement of the awards in 1995. This prestigious accomplishment will certainly be a catalyst to develop more Jumeirah Theme Parks worldwide. Jumeirah Beach Hotel received the esteemed 2007 Dubai Quality Award (DQA) and Jumeirah Emirates Towers collected the Dubai Quality Appreciation Award. This is the first time Jumeirah has received the Gold Award, having been awarded with a number of DQA awards in previous years.
The DQA is presented to enterprises from different sectors of the economy in Dubai that demonstrate the utmost in quality service and is based on the European Excellence Model of the European Foundation for Quality Management.
Executive Chairman of the Jumeirah Group, Mr Gerald Lawless stated:
“This is a real privilege to win three awards, including the prestigious gold category at the Dubai Quality Awards. The gold accreditation is a true credit to Wild Wadi for their exceptional quality standards in the industry. We are also extremely proud that our Jumeirah Beach Hotel and Jumeirah Emirates Towers properties have been recognised for their individual achievements. At Jumeirah we strive to provide the best quality service in everything that we accomplish, and to offer our guests the incomparable superiority they expect from a luxury hospitality group. We will maintain our performance through the DQA evaluation model, in order to continually deliver first-class results.”
Wild Wadi’s General Manager, Chris Perry, remarked: “This is the second Dubai Quality Award we have won, and it’s truly a team effort at Wild Wadi. Our colleagues work exceptionally hard to provide unparalleled service to our guests on a daily basis. We are honoured to win the gold category, which is such a prestigious award for quality management.'
