Sheraton Deira reports strong Q1 financial performance

Sheraton Deira Hotel reports a 15% percent higher in total revenue for the first quarter ending March 31, 2008.

RevPAR growth was 14% as against prior year same quarter. RevPAR growth was particularly impressive due to aggressive and optimal revenue planning and marketing strategies being implemented.

GOP increased by 18% in ratio to prior year Also the average room rate has enjoyed a leap of 15%, which is a remarkable acceleration in growth.

At present the EBITDA at the end of 1st quarter shows a positive growth of 20% same period to last year.

Besides a good financial result, the Sheraton Deira also reflects a positive trend in the GSI (guest satisfaction index) results, which is up by 1 base % points.

Happy guests with our services are return guests and who influence few more guests, which in turn has a direct influence on revenue.
