Inching up the ladder, DTCM booked more space for enhanced number of booths and co-participants in the 15th edition of the prestigious event, compared to previous years.

Measuring 1080 square meters, the Dubai stand breaks its own record of previous year with 132 co-participants and 90 booths this year.

Some 23,449 prominent players from over 100 countries are expected to attend the industry's leading travel and tourism exhibition dedicated to unlock the business potential within the Middle East and pan Arab region.

The phenomenal increase in Dubai's presence at the ATM can be gauged from its humble beginning in 1995.

The Dubai stand in the ATM in 1995 measured 225 square meters and had 18-co-participants with 14 booths.

Mr. Saleh Al Geziry, DTCM, Director and Mr. Talal Al Swaidi, Senior Executive, Overseas Promotions, and organizers of the ATM under DTCM auspices, briefed the representatives of the co-participants at a pre-fair meeting held at the Le Meridien Airport Hotel.

'Over the years, the ATM has grown phenomenally, both in terms of exhibition space and participants, and acknowledged worldwide as the premier industry event. We have been increasing our participation size every year to accommodate the demand and to showcase the unique developments taking shape in the emirate,' Mr. Al Geziry said.

Dubai Heritage & Diving Village is also participating in the exhibition by creating several Heritage displays that will act as attractions to the Dubai stand.

DTCM has also hosted a buyers' booklet containing information about the guests (Invitees) to Dubai.

The Overseas Promotions, DTCM has also created an online system where all its co-participants will be able to view the hosted buyers and vice versa to schedule appointments during the four days of the exhibition.

DTCM will allocate a separate counter for ATM at the Dubai Immigration counters in order to ease the entry of the ATM visitors.

Dubai Immigration will also have a booth at the entrance of the Dubai stand to promote their brochures, services and information. They will issue the e-gate cards too in the show in a room within the stand.

Dubai Police will also be present in the event with a separate room to promote their services for tourists.
