- PRESS RELEASE
Employees of the Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority (ADTA) participated in a blood donation programme conducted at the ADTA Headquarters recently.
This was the first of the two blood donation day organized by the ADTA annually.
Compared to last year, there was a 50% increase in the number of employees participating in the drive.
The blood donors include UAE nationals and expatriates from various nationalities.
In order to create further awareness about the healthy benefits of donating blood and how blood donations could help save the lives of many, the ADTA published informative leaflets in both Arabic and English.
By organizing the campaign, the ADTA aim to cooperate with healthcare organizations and fulfill its commitment to the community in all aspects of life, including the healthcare.
It hopes it will encourage others in the burgeoning tourism industry to come forward for this noble cause.
The ADTA's vision calls for enriching the lives of the Abu Dhabi community and visitors alike and the blood donation campaign goes in line with its social responsibility commitment.
