Exclusively-business class airline Silverjet sponsors seminar series at Arabian Travel Market 2008

Award winning exclusively-business class airline Silverjet today announced its official sponsorship of the seminar programme taking place during Arabian Travel Market 2008, the Middle East's premier travel and tourism event.
In addition to its support of the seminar series at Arabian Travel Market, Silverjet is providing two return tickets from Dubai to London for a special prize draw, which will be available to all UAE trade professionals that pre-register for the exhibition before Sunday 4th May.
Lawrence Hunt, Chief Executive Officer of Silverjet, said: "Since the launch of our Dubai route, the support for our service in the region has been fantastic. We are delighted to be involved in Arabian Travel Market on a number of fronts, as the event reaches out to key members of the travel trade".
Hunt will also be speaking at Arabian Travel Market's seminar programme, which will be held on the show floor for the first time, and will be addressing the audience on Thursday 8th May at 12.30 in a session entitled ' All-Business Class Airlines - The New Success Story'.
Hunt's address will be one of 15 seminars taking place at the show, and is part of event organizer Reed Travel Exhibitions' mandate to tackle key industry issues in an effort to boost knowledge exchange.
From the future of travel agents and the development of online travel bookings to recruitment and retention strategies in the Middle East's hotel industry, these insightful sessions are a must-attend for anyone wanting to stay ahead of the game.
"Silverjet's participation, coupled with an impressive speaker line up of industry heavyweights, underscores our commitment to position Arabian Travel Market as a content rich experience and as the only place to conduct business for the international travel and tourism industry in the Middle East," said Simon Press, Exhibition Director, Arabian Travel Market -which runs at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre from 6-9th May.
"Visitors and exhibitors to this year's show will have access to an unrivalled information cache which cannot be found anywhere else in this region," he added.
The airline is also one of the sponsors of the Passports campaign for Travel Agents Day being held at the event.
A new initiative for 2008, Travel Agents Day will boast the latest top class travel and tourism education, combining skills, learning, product knowledge and great competitions.
It promises the opportunity to interact and engage with over 60 countries and destinations, and network with over 2,000 exhibitors.
With private terminals, fares to London and New York starting at just Dhs8,300 return, and a flight experience which includes a 30 minute check in, a flat bed, dedicated security, valet parking, and meals by Le Caprice, Silverjet is proving increasingly popular with leisure and business travellers alike.
Arabian Travel Market is held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE, Ruler of Dubai, and under the auspices of the Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing, Government of Dubai.
