Dubai Cargo Village reports 10.9% growth

Dubai Cargo Village handled 153,962.64 tonnes in March compared to 138,760.24 tonnes in March 2007, an increase of 10.96%, a statement said. Imports and exports increased by 11.89% to 147,983.61 tonnes in March 2008 from 132,258.30 tonnes in March 2007. Transshipments increased by 14.51% to 83,558.75 tonnes in March 2008 from 72,972.01 tonnes in March 2007.
