DHL solutions in the limelight again at Dubai Quality Awards

DHL Express, the world's leading express and logistics services provider, was presented today with a Certificate of Appreciation at the Dubai Quality Awards.

The award was given to DHL as a result of its commitment towards developing and consistently improving robust processes to maintain excellence and service quality. HH Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, presented the certificate to Noel Saldana, Quality Manager, DHL Express, and Derek Tully, Operations Manager, DHL Express UAE.

Commenting on the achievement, Janet Jweihan, DHL Express Country Manager, UAE said:

"All our processes and sub-processes in the UAE are certified to the latest ISO9001:2000 quality standards. This helps to ensure that our employees deliver the best service while customers find it easier to do business with DHL. It is gratifying to see that Dubai Quality Awards, which is known as Dubai's quality roadmap, has cited our processes as a model in total quality management and best business practices. This certificate is a great triumph of our teamwork and will motivate our hardworking staff to continue their efforts to maintain DHL as the first choice for customers."


DHL Express has previously been awarded two Gold awards by the Dubai Quality Awards, in 1995 and 2001.
