The primary objective of this year's exhibition is to build on the success of the 2007 show, and to further enhance and support the vision for residential and commercial property growth worldwide.
Billions of dollars' worth of business is conducted at this show each year.
Speaking on the firm's participation in the event, SNASCO and SIC chairman, Mr. Saleh Sorayai, said,
"We know from experience that there is always a great deal to be gained from participating in a Cityscape event, as these events offer us unique opportunities for expansion and give us access to important information relevant to every aspect of the real estate industry".
The entry of the SIC into Cityscape Abu Dhabi follows a recent announcement by master developer, SNASCO, that it intends to expand operations into the UAE's capital, having kept a close eye on developments in the property sector there for some time.
The Abu Dhabi economy enjoys a particularly healthy rate of growth, producing 90% of the UAE's oil, owning 10% of its oil reserves and 5% of the world's oil reserves, making Abu Dhabi an increasingly attractive investment option across the broader spectrum of economic sectors, including real estate.
Meanwhile, reports of excellent progress on the SIC project continue, with healthy sales figures and construction on the project site moving on schedule.
The SIC promises a significant boost to the economy of the emirate of Sharjah, earning the emirate its reputation as the business hub of the UAE, and is a point of keen interest for both regional and international investors.
Situated in a prime location within easy reach of both, air and sea ports, and with a myriad of sophisticated features and facilities, the SIC is one of the emirate's most innovative projects to date.
