The Emarati students, all in their final year on Higher Diploma in Business and Management major in Travel & Tourism, worked with SWISS and Switzerland Tourism to gain actual experiences in travel and tourism operations more than just learning them in theories.

The week-long familiarization trip took the students to Zermatt, Montreux, Interlaken & Jungfraujoch, Gstaad, and Chateu d'Oex. More importantly, the students experienced the SWISS inflight service and a taste of their hospitality. They also had a glimpse of SWISS operations at the Zurich airport by visiting the airline's facilities.

Upon their return, the students prepared to showcase what they have learned from the trip by creating marketing and promotional strategies targeting Arab families. An exhibition on SWISS week is now ongoing at the Dubai Women's College cafeteria running through May 1 highlighting Swiss tourism regions and destinations and SWISS as airline of choice for Arab families for their European sojourn.
