They discussed ways of boosting cooperation between Dubai and Lyon in fields related to construction, historic buildings and landscaping.
Lootah briefed the delegation on the tasks of the Municipality including town planning, city beautification, overseeing building and construction activities in the emirate, in addition to a variety of services it provides to the city's residents in the fields of public health, food, environment and public safety.
The Lyon delegation lauded the prosperity accomplished by the city of Dubai in various fields. "I am very much impressed to see such a large and beautiful city in a desert region. Dubai's infrastructure and the pace in which it grows are unmatched," said Collomb.
He underscored the significance of exchange of expertise between the two cities in fields related to education, culture, arts and sports.
