Abu Dhabi to host 'Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition 2008'

Abu Dhabi is to host its 'International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition' (ADIHEX2008) next October at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre, organisers of the event said.
The exhibition - Abu Dhabi 2008 - will also see the participation of more companies specialized in falcon medicines and treatment, falcon captive-breeding farms, as well as manufacturers of all equestrian sport accessories, hunting equipment, rifles, fishing equipment, marine equipment, and tour and safari organisers.
The exhibition is meant to highlight the culture and heritage of the United Arab Emirates, according to organisers of the event.
"This is one of the most important events in the region which introduces visitors from around the world to our heritage," said Abdullah Al-Qubaisi, member of the organising committee of the exhibition, and Director of the Exhibitions Department at the Abu Dhabi Authority for Culture and Heritage (ADACH).
The event, which is sponsored by Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Emirates Falconers' Club (EFC), and organised by the EFC in cooperation with Turret Middle East with support from ADACH, will be held October 8-11, 2008.
