Overview on Emirates Nationals Development Programme
ENPD was established in November 2007 pursuant to the directives of H.H Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai with a view to enhancing the presence of UAE nationals in various fields of economy especially in the private sector through providing the suitable scientific training and qualification according to international standards.

ENPD was started by receiving recruitment applications of nationals seeking jobs in the private sector via website and kiosks especially established for this purpose in some shopping centers in Dubai and other Emirates.

ENPD adopts four essential strategies; knowledge, attraction, training and follow-up. Events of ENPD pay the utmost attention to most important sectors in the national economy to gain priority to encourage nationals work therein, including tourism, trade real estate, banks, IT, national groups and semi-governmental establishments.

ENPD includes sub-committees which consist of a group of private company leaders in the said sectors whose duties are to suggest new solutions for obstacles hindering the recruitment of nationals and contribute in determination of their training requirements, etc.
