BenQ Middle East reports strong Q1 LCD monitor sales

BenQ Middle East, the global leader in networked lifestyle solutions, reported on the first-quarter results for its LCD monitor business.
"With the MidEast economy on a roll and everyone trying to grab a piece of the action, the emphasis is on being unique. Our innovative strength, marketing strategy and integrated regional distribution have been major contributing factors to our record-breaking LCDM sales in this quarter," said Manish Bakshi, General Manager, BenQ Middle East and Africa.
BenQ's strong performance in Q1 was driven by the booming demand for BenQ LCDMs across the region, which has risen exponentially over the past 12 months. The latest high-end models in the 22" and 24" segments, which incorporate cutting-edge technology and futuristic design, have currently spurred further growth. Meanwhile, BenQ's 15" widescreen LCD display has been introduced keeping in mind the emerging market where the transition from CRT to LCD is happened & the model has generated good demand from the consumers.
"The BenQ brand has long stood for innovation in design and technology with products engineered for superior performance and optimum lifestyle enhancement. The 2008 Red Hot awards for V2400W clearly demonstrate BenQ's market leadership in high quality LCD monitors," Bakshi continued.
The futuristic model like BenQ V2400W LCD monitor exemplifies BenQ's innovation capabilities. It features HDMI support, 1080p full HD support, a 2ms gray-to-gray response time, 4000:1 dynamic contrast ratio and the all new Kinergy design language, which evokes a sense of motion through static forms. The off-center base stand and curved back plate are unexpected yet appealing visual accents that help transform a utilitarian high-tech device into an aesthetically pleasing object.
