Meet the new face of Planet Group at Arabian Travel Market 2008

The group of 11 established companies has business interests in hospitality, travel, aviation, freight forwarding, cargo, hotel, real estate, entertainment, food & beverage, exhibitions, logistics and trading.

The smiling image of the new Planet envoy will dominate the overall visual theme of the imposing Planet stand. It embodies the professionalism and warm, friendly service the runs across all member companies of the group. The move reflects the mission of the group which to reach the highest level of integrity while identifying and exceeding the needs and expectations of its customers. It gives high priority to the trust of its customers by making them feel like royalty.

Key officers of the group headed by its Chairman, George Moussa, will meet existing and prospective clients at its official stand (No. UAE 320, Hall 2) as well as the DTCM stand where it has a corner (No. UAE 777, Hall 3). By participating in the region's biggest gathering of tourism stakeholders, the group aims to reinforce its position as a partner of choice in the UAE.

Tracing its beginnings to the establishment of Planet Travel and Tours in 1989, Planet Group has diversified its business operations under 11 companies all of which are considered leaders in their respective sectors.

It was at the ATM last year when Planet Group announced its major initiatives, top-billed by the development of a 5-star hotel, furnished apartment and convention centre complex in the Danat area of Abu Dhabi with total cost of Dh1 billion.
