Aramco increases oil discount

  • Saudi Arabia: Monday, May 05 - 2008 at 11:07

Saudi Aramco has increased the discount on the price of heavy crudes that will be exported to Asia in June. The company's Arab Heavy grade has been discounted by 45 cents to under $7.45 per barrel and Arab Medium by 20 cents to under $7.45 per barrel. The move comes as increased South East Asian supplies squeeze the sector's profit margins.
