Commenting on the future plans for both brands in 2008, ElTibi said 'The Dollar Rent A Car brand will continue its ambitious expansion project, while plans for the Thrifty Car Rental brand consist of updating the car rental fleet to suit the changing demands of regional customers. For example, Thrifty Oman will start using GPS in a number of vehicles as that country's tourism footprint expands.

Dollar Thrifty remains committed to firmly establishing its reputation as one of the region's premier automotive rental groups, and participating in events such as ATM is vital to strengthening our foothold in the region's increasingly competitive car rental market,'
ElTibi concluded.
With 150 square meters of exhibition space at ATM dedicated to both the Dollar Rental Car and Thrifty Car Rental brands, the group announced its largest presence ever at the
trade show, which attracts travel trade and corporate buyers from all over the world.
To further entice visitors to the Dollar Thrifty stand, the car rental group is also providing an opportunity to win a sought-after raffle prize. All executives visiting the stands will be invited to leave their business cards, making them eligible to win the prize.
