This is the second year in succession that NAS has won this bid proving its capability as a top notch ground handling services provider.

This agreement valid for a year means NAS will handle approximately twenty five UNAMI flights per month and the scope of the handling agreement includes VIP handling and cargo handling services.

Through this contract NAS will also be providing engineering and line maintenance services on an ad-hoc basis.

"Although NAS derives a major portion of its revenues from commercial flights and carriers, we are extremely focused on providing consistent support to NGOs like the UN" stated Adel Al-Askar, Director of Business Development at NAS. "Given the current circumstances in Iraq, we know that UNAMI's mission is a crucial one and we are confident of providing efficient services to UNAMI and its representatives that will be flying in and out of Iraq via Kuwait." he added.

"The winning of this bid further goes to establish our name as the provider of multiple ground handling services targeted at the entire aviation spectrum and we will continue to create a diverse array of services to satisfy every sector of the aviation industry" Al-Askar concluded.
