- PRESS RELEASE
Emirates Glass LLC (EGL), one of the leading processors of architectural flat glass in the Middle East and a subsidiary of Glass LLC, which is wholly owned by Dubai Investments (DI), has recently announced the successful supply of its premium glass products to the third tallest telecommunication tower in the world.
The Milad Telecom Tower contract in Iran comes in a series of orders the company has completed in various countries in the region. The aluminium contractor was Germany's renowned Etzel GmbH while the main contractor for the project was Iran's Yadman Sazeh.
Mr. Ziad Yazbeck, General Manager, Emirates Glass said: "This prestigious contract allowed us to clad the third tallest telecommunication tower in the world was a major milestone for us. Our products are already greatly preferred by leading architects who have worked on various high-rise towers. Nevertheless, we are extremely privileged to be supplying our products to such a unique landmark project in the region."
The company's EmiLam laminated glass is a versatile, durable safety glass product for any architectural situation which requires excellent impact-resistance as well as resistance to break-in, to bullets and to explosions.
"The Milad Telecom Tower contract in Iran, along with other projects in the region, including major contracts in Qatar, has further consolidated our leadership position. Emirates Glass has been able to win and supply such contracts due to crucial measures undertaken over the years including our ongoing multi-million capacity expansion project," said Mr. Yazbeck.
"We are witnessing a new era for the company for our expansions have enabled us to be able to supply our glass in record time. We are confident that we will continue to be market leaders, and remain committed to our clients to supply them with high quality glass products," remarked Mr. Yazbeck.
