The Iraqi government has placed an order for 30 Boeing 737-800, with contracted options for a further 10. The contract is valued at $2.2n, and had previously been put down on Boeing's books as for an 'unidentified customer'. The Iraqi government is also finalising an order for 10 737 Dreamliners, allowing the national carrier to provide long range commercial services.
