Boat show extravaganza steering towards a successful finish

- PRESS RELEASE
The 2nd Kuwait Boat Show International will conclude five days of family entertainment and serious fun for marine sports enthusiasts.
By the forth day, the event organizers counted roughly 10,000 visitors and many more are expected to come on Saturday night, traditionally a day for Kuwaiti citizens to seek outdoor entertainment.
Many exhibitors have reported tremendous sales worth multiple million Kuwaiti Dinars at the Show with lots of solid leads to follow after this event - demonstrating again the importance of Kuwait's marine market, which is still the largest in the Middle East.
Some of the more spectacular sales included two cigarette boats, the average price of which range from half $1m to $2.5m the Integrity 55 power cruisers which have been very popular in Kuwait - as well as the Maritimo 52 foot luxury yacht that was sold for over KD400,000 to a Qatari Shaikh.
"Despite the dusty weather conditions, we were delighted with the volume and calibre of attendees at the show. Among the visitors we counted a good mix of serious boating customers and other individuals who came out simply for a good time, enjoying the lights, sounds and of course the wide range of beautifully crafted sea cruisers," said Wael Juju, CEO of Knotika Holding.
"We were especially delighted with the number of VIP guests who graced us with their presence. Among our illustrious guests we met with Sheiks from Kuwait and the rest of the Gulf, several local government ministers and foreign embassy personnel".
The boat show, organized by marine event experts Knotika Holding, represents one of the highlights in Kuwait's public events calendar.
It delivers both outdoor family entertainment as well as a plethora of dedicated marine products and services for the dedicated fisherman and water sports fan.
The show provided a superb opportunity for marine vessel vendors to informally meet potential clients and members of the general public who may only ever dream of riding aboard let alone owning one of the larger yachts or power cruisers. But this is part of the essence of a boat show - allowing everyone to glimpse what dreams are made of.
