Tourism Malaysia's Director General Dato' Mirza Mohammad Taiyab is going to hold an extended press conference the day on 5th May at Jumeirah Beach Hotel Dubai.
On this occasion, he invites nationals of the Gulf States and Arab tourists to benefit from the privileges and facilities provided by his country. In the same time, Malaysia targeted 22.5 million tourists in 2008, and a 32% increase of arrivals from the GCC countries.
Tourism Malaysia official reviews the most important achievements of Malaysia tourism industry last year together with the great facilities offered by the country for visitors from the Middle East region as well as the future plans in attracting more Arab tourists, and will also answer questions and queries from journalists of all newspapers and magazines, local, Arab and international ones.
For his part, Tourism Malaysia's Director General expressed his optimism on the results of ATM 2008 in Dubai, and said: ' We are more confident in this forum to achieve our ambitions of the previous forums, 'noting that the number of incoming tourists from the Middle East to Malaysia is on the rise, thanks to a continuous policy adopted by our Government to provide the best services for Arab tourists.'

Malaysia strongly participates in the Arabian Travel Market (ATM) 2008 in Dubai scheduled on May 6 - 9; through a big tourism delegation consists of 85 establishments from the government and private sectors such as hotels, tour operators and states government.
