The pavilion at the ATM is the first-ever public showcase of this collaboration.

Armani Hotels & Resorts is developing a collection of luxury hotels, resorts and residences in key international cities with one of the first Armani Hotel and Armani Residences to open at Burj Dubai, the world's tallest building developed by Emaar Properties in Downtown Burj Dubai. This will be followed by the launches of the Armani Hotels & Resorts in Milan and Marrakech, and subsequently in other international destinations such as New York, Shanghai and London. All the properties in the portfolio will be designed to the finest detail by Giorgio Armani himself.

Reflecting the Armani lifestyle, the Armani Hotels & Resorts pavilion at the ATM has been designed in an oval shape where each element of the stand progressively and gradually reveals itself within the customer journey. The exterior of the pavilion displays three mock-doors that also serve as a preview of the Armani experience at the first of the three destinations - Dubai, Marrakech and Milan. Offering a true journey into the heart of the Armani philosophy of hospitality, the pavilion highlights the Armani Living experience, and is a spectacular visual and sensorial experience for visitors.

Giorgio Armani said:

"I am pleased to see how the Armani Hotels & Resorts project is getting attention even one year before its actual launch in Dubai. I feel enthusiasm, curiosity and high expectations all around the world. This participation to the Arabian Travel Market is an important step before the actual launch and the first time we present the Hotels concept to public since the announcement of the partnership with Emaar. I am actually looking forward to show part of the work we have been carrying out in these past few years and the high standards achieved in all details of the project. Both the Armani Hotels and the Armani Residences will be in line with the world's expectations."

Mr Marc Dardenne, CEO, Emaar Hotels & Resorts said: "The Armani Hotels & Resorts have redefined hospitality standards. This venture reiterates Emaar's commitment to developing integrated lifestyle communities, with the hospitality & leisure segment being a key component of our growth strategy. Following the successful launch of Armani Residences in Burj Dubai, there is global interest on the project, which is being showcased for the public for the first time ever at the Arabian Travel Market."

He added: "As the meeting point of the world's travel and hospitality industry, the Arabian Travel Market is an ideal platform for us to roll out the Armani experience to the public. Apart from gaining a true perspective of the Armani Hotel and the Armani Residences in Burj Dubai, the pavilion also gives an overview of our upcoming international projects."

Through the effective use of sophisticated colours, textures, shapes, materials and styles, Armani Hotels & Resorts offers highly personalised living environments where the emphasis is on comfort, simplicity and elegance.

The Armani Hotel in Burj Dubai will offer 160 guest rooms and suites, restaurants and a spa, covering more than 40,000 square meters. The hotel as well as the 144 exclusive Armani Residences will be fully decorated with dedicated Armani/Casa home furnishings. Clean lines, practicality and elegance are the cornerstones of the Armani/Casa collection together with precious materials and sophisticated finishes.

Burj Dubai, the world's tallest building, anchors Downtown Burj Dubai, a 500-acre mixed-use development, which is described as the 'new heart of the city.' Burj Dubai also features commercial offices, serviced apartments and leisure amenities. Emaar's collaboration with Giorgio Armani S.p.A marks the company's expansion into hospitality & leisure in line with its Vision 2010 to become one of the most valuable companies in the world.
