France 24 participates in Arab Broadcast Forum

The 24/7 international French news channel that broadcasts its programs over the airwaves and on the Internet in three languages was one of the active participants during the Arab Broadcast Forum that has seen the involvement of all the major TV stations networks.
"That is also translated into the France 24 charter that our Arabic channel employees sign and that guarantees these values of honesty, independence, analysis, respect, listening, team spirit , humility and a modern outlook as well as demanding approach," she added.
The free to air channel, that has celebrated the first anniversary of its Arabic channel launch last month, is definitely considered as one of the major international media broadcasters, and that was present at the heart of the major events that have happened in the Middle East last year, trough its local reporters and correspondents presence at the hot spots, making sure their Arabic audience - viewers and web surfers - have the latest, most accurate information on these events.
"We also have included special programs that focus on different regions of the world and of course the Middle East is one of them. Our viewers can also watch all these programs live in French, English and Arabic on our website that has been acclaimed by web users as throughout the world as with 69% of its audience outside France," Agnès concluded
Speaking at on of the various sessions that were held at the Emirates Palace, on the American elections - Art of Covering Elections: US elections and Arab World, Agnès intervention insisted on the fact that these elections are covered by France 24 with the same constant values of diversity of opinions, debate, contradiction and confrontation of viewpoints of all candidates equally, leading to a more objective coverage which leaves the final conclusion to the viewer himself.
France 24 will continue reinforcing its ties with the Middle East by constantly covering cultural events, economic forums and touristic features as well as infrastructure developments and real estate projects.
