Islamic trading portal goes live

An electronic trading platform for the nations of the Organisation of Islamic Conference will be launched today in Sharjah. But only the UAE, Malaysia and Indonesia are included in phase one. Saudi Arabia will be added next year. Malaysian ISP Mimos Berhad and the Islamic Development Bank are the main shareholders in OIC networks, and a partner from the UAE should be announced next year, according to Gulf News.
