Sharaf DG announces free tech check-up services through DG Help

Sharaf DG, announced that its tech services division DG Help, has launched a first of it's kind service in the UAE where customers can dial a toll free number and get a free check up of their PCs, laptops, wireless connections or home theatre systems, irrespective of whether the product was bought at Sharaf DG or not.

The 800-DGHelp (800-344357) number will connect customers to a 'Tech Doctor' who will take an appointment and arrive promptly to provide trouble-shooting consultancy.

Laptops can also be brought in for a free check-up to the DG Help Tech Clinics located in Sharaf DG stores at Times Square Center, Deira City Centre and Ibn Battuta Mall.

Speaking on the launch, Mr Nilesh Khalkho, Director at Sharaf DG, explained,

"Sharaf DG takes great pride in constantly bringing innovation to the consumer electronics retail and service industry in the region. DG Help's free tech check-up service is another customer-focused initiative that will help reduce the frustrations that customers encounter when battling with problems with their computers, laptops and home theatre systems. Our engineers will test and report problems with the machines for free. It is then upto the customers to decide to use DG Help to rectify the problem for which there will be charges for labour and spares. We believe that this service will help build a strong bond and loyalty with our customers and demonstrate the expertise of our DG Help service engineers".


DG Help is the technology troubleshooting and repair division of Sharaf DG, comprising highly trained and certified engineers to resolve any technical difficulties with computers, networks or audio/ visual systems.

It specializes in PC and laptop servicing and repair, software installation and upgrades, wireless network set-up, data back-up and recovery, home theatre and TV installation, small business set-up and annual maintenance contracts.

DG Help's features include a 30 day warranty on services provided, extended working hours including weekends (10 am to 12 midnight), quick response time, use of genuine spares and components, a toll free number to call on and door-to-door service.
