Citibank UAE appoints Aqil Jaffer Ali Branch Banking Head

Citibank, a member of Citi, announced the appointment of Aqil Jaffer Ali as Head for Branch Banking with responsibility for the entire Citibank UAE branch distribution, sales and revenues.

Citibank's branch network in the UAE includes five branches in Dubai, Sharjah and Abu Dhabi and five Financial Centers (or Electronic Banking Units) located at the following addresses:


• Al Heel Tower in Khalidiya, Abu Dhabi

• Al-Rigga Palace, Al Maktoum St, Dubai

• Marina Heights Towers, Next to Marina Walk, Dubai

• Crystal Plaza, King Faisal Street, Sharjah

• Jumeirah Beach Road, Dubai.

Mr. Jaffer Ali is a Citibanker with 18 years of experience within the bank. An MBA graduate from Oklahoma City University with a BS in Computer Science/Accounting from Central State University, he carries an all-round banking experience having worked in the bank's key areas of operations, technology, treasury, compliance, branches and investment services.
