Raffles Dubai was a fitting venue for the occasion as the opening of the hotel last year marked the group's debut in the Middle East.
The event was the perfect occasion for Raffles Hotels & Resorts' Managing Director Diana Ee-Tan and Raffles Dubai's General Manager Hagop Doghramadjian to welcome industry leaders and influential socialites from the UAE to personally experience the enchanting world of Raffles.
"We are excited that Raffles Dubai is participating in the Arabian Travel Market 2008, and it is a great opportunity to host our distinguish guests, as well as to showcase the Raffles brand to the UAE community," stated Hagop Doghramadjian.
Mrs Tan was joined by executives from Raffles Hotels & Resorts, who specially flew in for the event, including General Managers from all Raffles properties:
Robert Logan from Raffles Hotel Singapore, Riaz Mahmood from Raffles Beijing Hotel, Peter Lloyd Wynne, Raffles Grand Hotel d'Angkor, Siem Reap, Cambodia and Raffles Hotel Le Royal, Phnom Penh, Cambodia, Jack Naderkhani from Raffles L'Ermitage and Gilbert Madhavan from Raffles Canouan Island.
The cocktail event was held at the chic New Asia Bar, located at the pinnacle of the pyramid. A collection of stunning visuals was displayed, to present the prominent Raffles Hotels & Resorts worldwide, each property distinguished by its unique luxury, elegance and residential charm.
