Etisalat and Sony Ericsson tie up for an exciting promotion

The first of its kind promotion offers a customised Sony Ericsson k660i mobile phone, a special number Wasel SIM card and a pre-paid credit of Dhs25.

Running all over the UAE, the unique promotion enables shoppers to get the latest of Sony Ericsson mobile phones as well as connectivity at a total cost savings of 16%. The phones are customised with colours matching the Etisalat theme. This bundle will be available in key retailers and other point of sales starting from Sunday 11 may 2008.

Sony Ericsson k660i phone incorporates the latest in telecommunication and information technology and makes web browsing exceptionally smooth and hassle-free. The handset has a rotation option that allows for browsing the web in a wide horizontal screen and has a Directional Pad that works as a virtual mouse during browsing. In addition, the device is equipped with Google maps as well as a wide range of widgets that work on the main screen, including Web services sourcing RSS feeds of the latest news.

The device also supports high speed internet through new communication networks like HSDPA, as it allows 3.5G connection at a speed of 3.6 megabit per second. In fact this phone is considered one of the best devices to work with 3.5G services such as Mobile TV, Video calls, MobileCam and other entertainment applications.

Though it has a strong accent on internet browsing, Sony Ericsson k660i also offers extensive multimedia and entertainment interfaces. The trendy device works as a digital audio player, with an inbuilt 2.0 mega pixel digital camera that optimizes image quality. This promotion continues until 19 May, when it will then allow 10 GB per month.
