i2 appoints new Chief Operating Officer

Having implemented an aggressive expansion strategy for 2008, i2 is investing heavily in ensuring that the most qualified individuals are an integral part of its growth.

The most recent demonstration of their investment is the appointment of Guy Sauvage as Chief Operating Office, for Middle East and Africa.

Guy Sauvage will be responsible for leading and directing i2's group. He will oversee and drive i2's business development to facilitate the short and long term success of the business.

On the appointment of Guy Sauvage, Abdul Hameed Al Sunaid, CEO, i2 commented,

"Guy Sauvage has a wealth of experience and knowledge in business development. Guy Sauvage has years of experience in business development and leading globally respected firms in France, Greece, Hong Kong, Korea and Spain.

He has held senior positions in large organisations such as Carrefour Group, IKEA Group, Auchan Group, MAXOR supermarket and most recently Gifi Group in France as the Chief Operating Officer.

He has also worked as a consultant in the retail business for FF Partners Consulting where he started his career.

Guy Sauvage's extensive senior management expertise and ability to set up organisational structure to expand a company's presence and reach has allowed him to obtain diversified knowledge in his field.

In his new role at i2, Guy Sauvage will oversee and drive business development and ensure that organisational process and appropriate infrastructure are set in place to ensure i2's success and growth.
