The groundbreaking Super Multi Blue Blu-ray Disc Rewriter (BE06) is the world's fastest Blu-ray Disc Rewriter that reads and writes Blu-ray at 6x, offering users the quickest portable option for data storage.

'The development of the fastest Blu-ray disc rewriter is another important milestone in the history of LG's product innovation,' explained Mr. K.W. Kim, CEO and President of LG Electronics Middle East Company. 'Our latest technological breakthrough caters to the needs of businesses across the globe that demand high-definition content recorded in the minimum time, without compromising on quality'.

BE06 is ideal for the home or office for back-up of a large number of files, photos, or any company documents.

BE06 records up to 50GB of data, equivalent up to 9 hours of high-definition video or 23 hours of standard definition video (on a dual layer 50GB BD-R/BD-RE recordable media).

LG's BE06 is perfect for laptop users or users that have multiple PCs as it can simply be plugged into the PC via a USB 2.0 connection and a DC power connector.

BE06, with the never seen before slanted bezel with blue light beam in the centre, is compatible with BD, HD DVD, DVD, and CD formats, making it the most universal unit available.

LG has also added two models to its popular Super Multi Blue series - GGW-H20N/L, the Blu-ray disc rewriter & GGC-H20N/L, a combo drive that reads BD-R at 6 X and DVD +/- R.

With the new models, LG offers its customers with the freedom and flexibility to use the most cutting-edge technology available in the market today.

GGW-H20N/L takes the Blu-ray optical drive to the next level, offering BD-R write speed of 6X, & DVD+/-R write speed of 16X.

GGW-H20N/L combines cutting-edge Blu-ray technology with all other optical disc formats such as HD DVD, DVD, DVD±R, DVD±RW, and DVD-RAM.

Compatibility with all recordable disc formats takes the complexity and guesswork out of purchasing blank media.

The core technologies of Super Multi Blue Drive are Optical Pickup technology, which supports Blu-ray disc write/playback, HD DVD playback and DVD/CD write/playback, as well as the system controlling the Optical Pickup securely and effectively.

All of these are LG's proprietary technologies. Optical Pickup is the device reading and storing data by converting the code of the light reflected by an optical disc to electric code.

LightScribe is available for both GGW-H20L & GGC-H20L.
