CGC launches Nokia N500 Auto Navigation in Qatar

(CGC), the biggest retailer of mobile phones and the largest Telecom and IT solution provider in Qatar, has launched a very useful Nokia N500 Personal Navigation device.
Nokia N500 is a complete convergent device with navigation, handsfree, music player, photo viewer/video player and FM transmitter among other features.
CGC has brought this wonderful Nokia product to Qatar in association with Techmart, Nokia's original accessories and enhancements partner in the Middle East.
Anil Mahajan, Head - Business Development, CGC, and Techmart President, M. P. Sharma jointly unveiled the handy Nokia enhancement for Qatar's mobizens at an exclusive press launch in Intercontinental Hotel, Doha, on Sunday 11th May.
Addressing the media, Mahajan said, "Nokia N500 is a compliment to Qatar's new traffic laws. With its various user-friendly features, N500 is sure to improve and change the way people communicate, work or move - enabling them to get more out of their Nokia devices or to further enjoy all the functionalities of their Nokia devices."
Speaking on the occasion, M. P. Sharma said, "Being one of the most versatile devices, N500 Auto Navigation would certainly help in efforts to have an easy and smooth driving on and off the road. Nokia N500 is specially made for people who want to make their way with minimum fuss and maximum fun. This great travelling companion frees their hands when managing calls and helps them navigate easily from one place to the other. For those down-times on the road, or on arrival, they can entertain themselves with their music, movies and photos."
Explaining the key functionalities of N500, Hemant Aidasani, Product Marketing Manager, Techmart, said, "What makes Nokia N500 different from other navigation devices is that the maps are free for life and they can be downloaded from Nokia website and comes with a 2GB SD card, which allows users to store more music, maps, and videos with a storage capacity of up to 16GB."
Nokia N500 users can get a clear view with the intuitive Nokia interface and large 4.3 inch touch screen and can pinpoint their position and plan their route powered by Nokia Maps. Its split screen is well equipped to perform various functions at one time. With 13 prime languages including English, French, Spanish, Russian, etc., the users can find their way easily with turn-by-turn voice guidance including street names via text to speech and integrated real-time traffic information.
They can search their destinations by address and contacts in phone book or through points of interest, point on the map and even the last destinations by selecting their home address or office address and favourites as well.
They can stay on course with 2D/3D map view; can make offline route planning and trip management; can have large point of interest database and can even enjoy integrated multimedia functions (video, music, pictures) on the go, or play their tunes through the car radio with the built-in FM transmitter.
N500 also has many communication features such as Phonebook download of up to 2000 contact numbers from compatible mobile phone, Voice dialling support from compatible mobile phone, number dialling, favourites and even Call Waiting facilities. The users can also view their last 20 missed calls, received calls and even dialled calls. With its capacity to work for up to eight hours, Nokia N500 would certainly contribute in enhancing the quality of its users' life with its friendly features.
