At DSI, Wael's responsibilities will include reviewing, maintaining and implementing QHSE policies across all divisions in line with strict international standards and regulations concerning quality, health & safety, and environment.
He will also conduct regular audits and internal training.
Wael joins from SGS Gulf Ltd where he spent three years as a Senior Lead Auditor and Trainer.
He has over 11 years experience in the consultation, training, implementation and auditing of Quality, Environmental and Health & Safety Management Systems.
During this time, Wael has worked as a consultant for highly respected local firms including CNS Consultants, and ICQ Consultancy and Mebco Consultancy and has established many safety systems within the UAE for client such as Abu Dhabi University, RAK Free Zone Authority.
He also has extensive experience in establishing and conducting training courses in quality and safety introduction, awareness and internal auditing.
Wael holds a B.Sc. in Mechanical Design & Production Engineering from El-Minia University, Egypt.
DSI installs the essential core systems of buildings and is a market leader in the MEP and civil contracting sectors.
Some recent projects include Shangri-La Abu Dhabi Hotel, Park Place Tower, Indigo Tower, Rashid Hospital Trauma Centre, Zayed University Campus, Dubai Police Headquarters building, JBR District Cooling plant, and Dubai Festival City District Cooling scheme.
DSI recent won 'MEP Contractor of the Year' and 'Medium MEP Project of the Year' titles in Middle East MEP Awards 2007.
