Sharjah Economic Development organizes training program for its HR employees

Sharjah Economic Development Department (SEDD) has organized a training program for a number of its headquarter and branch offices employees to develop their human resources skills and performance and enable them to work professionally at the HR management.
"Organizing training courses and similar activities is part of the SEDD's plans to develop the human resources in order to reach an advanced level of performance, with an ambition to see the positive outcome of these efforts reflected on the performance quality, customer satisfaction and on the employee himself. We hope to create an atmosphere of competition among highly trained employees to offer the highest quality services to clients", he added.
The course was held at the Academy of Police Sciences in Sharjah and attended by Hanadi Al Muhairi, Deputy Manager of Development and Quality Department, Mohammed Liwad, Head of Licensing Department - Industrial Area branch and Khalfan Al Haraithi, Manager of Kalba branch. The attendees received a series of lectures delivered by Prof. Abdulfattah Ajlouni and Dr. Abdulaziz Hashim.
The lectures focused on five major topics, namely: "Training is an essential part of human resources management", "Training is a safe and rewarding investment", "The strategic role of corporate training", "The position of training in corporate organizational structure" and "Training is a key player in performance and productivity at all levels".
The attendees received lectures on the characteristics of professional trainers which covered many aspects as the self psychological preparation of a trainer, the education and knowledge of the trainer and the ability to understand and deal with different types of people.
The course includes definition, goals, types and benefits of training and answers to such questions as: "Is training an individual career", "is there a difference between education and training", "who is the good trainer". The program presents the problems that a trainer may face and the highlighted the importance of a trainer in an organization.
The course was concluded by practical training, where the trainees prepared comprehensive training programs for a company with more than 50 people. Each participant offered his project for discussion and evaluation of the professors.
