- PRESS RELEASE
Kingston Technology Company, Inc., the independent world leader in memory products, today announced the release to the Middle East of high-performance, low-latency 800MHz DDR2 fully-buffered dual-inline memory modules (FB-DIMMs).
"In a new tradition of expanding the Kingston HyperX product line, we are pleased to introduce HyperX FB-DIMM modules for customers building specialty workstations, servers and performance gaming systems based on the Intel 5400 chipset," said Antoine Harb, Business Development Manager for Kingston Technology Middle East and Africa. "Using a specialized dual-phased cooling system to cool the FB-DIMMs' controller IC, this new design will provide optimal temperature conditions. As part of our production process, these new modules have been fully tested on the Intel Skulltrail platform".
The Kingston Technolgy HyperX 800MHz FB-DIMMs perfectly complement the ground-paving, dual quad core processor performance of Intel's recent Skulltrail systems.
With memory latency timings lowered to 4-4-4, the new FB-DIMMs are capable of delivering high data bandwidth when installed in quad-channel mode.
