$1bn Salam Resort Bahrain unveiled

Sama Dubai, the international real estate investment and development arm of Dubai Holding, unveiled a scale model of the $1bn Salam Resort Bahrain to the public for the first time at Cityscape Abu Dhabi 2008. Phase one of the project will include a 288-room luxury beach hotel, seven waterfront hotel villas, a 20,000 sq/m conference centre and six royal villas on a private island. The second phase will encompass a residential community and retail outlets set in traditional suq style. The development is located 45km from Bahrain World Trade Centre and close to Bahrain International Circuit.
