- PRESS RELEASE
SAMACO, Saudi Arabia's premier distributor of Volkswagen cars achieved record levels in both sales and after-sales service during 2007 and has emerged as the leading VW distributor in the Middle East.
"This is clearly the result of SAMACO's ongoing endeavors to raise both the VW brand profile as well as customer satisfaction levels across our operations in KSA," said Mustafa Sabra. "During the last ten years, we have steadily worked towards realizing our vision to be the best European automobile distributor in the Kingdom - this award is recognition of the fact that SAMACO's efforts have borne fruit."
SAMACO was recognized by Volkswagen for highest levels of customer loyalty and satisfaction amongst all VW distributors across the Middle East. The company was also the top-performer in the used cars buy-back program. "Our distinguished services through the "Distinctive Maintenance Bouquet Program" - the first of its kind both in KSA and amongst Volkswagen distributors across the world - has provided the Volkswagen cars owners' unprecedented choices," said Sabra.
"Likewise, the launch of our Communication Center has brought us closer to our customers - critical for delivering on our promise of total customer satisfaction."
SAMACO offers the highest international standards of maintenance services - 60,000 km free servicing for silver card holders and 120,000 km for golden card holders - as part of the Distinctive Maintenance Bouquet Program.
"The program has been phenomenally successful in Saudi Arabia as it not only provides flexible servicing options but also offers other advantages to customers, such as roadside assistance for simple defects and standby cars while the customers' vehicle is under service," said Hani Atiah, Volkswagen Saudi Arabia's Regional Maintenance Director.
During 2007, SAMACO invested significantly to raise the quality and expertise of its technical maintenance teams. The company also opened its first centre for quick maintenance services in North Jeddah - the first of its kind in the region - ensuring delivery of service to the customers wherever they are. The company's service center in Riyadh boasts 27 service platforms and has won the appreciation of the VW regional office as the best service center. Other initiatives to improve customer satisfaction include plans to develop a service centre in Al Khobar and the provision of a fleet of standby cars for older customers who are not members of the Distinctive Maintenance Bouquet Program.
