The Gulf's notebook market is growing 60% year-on-year, according to Santosh Varghese, regional general manager for Toshiba's Computer Systems Division growth. He said Toshiba owns 18% of the local market and expects to sell more than 500,000 notebooks in the Gulf this year compared to 400,000 units last year.
