DNRD strengthens ties with officials from Pakistan

As part of strengthening co-operation and exchange of information between Dubai Naturalization and Residency Department (DNRD), and other international immigration departments, Colonel Salah Bin Suloom, Assistant Director to the Affairs of Air and Land Entry Points at DNRD received a high-level delegation.

The delegation was briefed on the state-of-the-art e-gate system which was installed in 2002 to facilitate the entry and exit procedures to and from Dubai in the most secure and efficient way.

Col. Bin Suloom explained how the system recognizes the fingerprints of e-gate card holders and the information verification process which takes less than 5 seconds.

The Pakistani officials got acquainted with the technological breakthrough adopted by the DNRD to simplify and speed up passport control procedures to the public.
