- PRESS RELEASE
World-beating technology from India that promises big energy savings is to make its debut in Dubai in February.
The innovative device can be used in projects such as power stations, air conditioning, irrigation and atomic energy plants. It has already won the backing of prominent consultants such as Kvaerner, Mott Macdonald and Tata Consulting.
India's Innovative Technomics International (ITI) will stage the regional FCMA soft starter launch at Middle East Electricity 2002, the premier exhibition and conference for the power and electricity industries, being held at the Dubai World Trade Centre from February 3-6.
ITI is among 10 Indian companies already registered for the show, which will feature 16 national pavilions. To date, exhibitors from 33 countries have contracted for Middle East Electricity 2002, which, for the first time, will have representation from Malaysia.
"This is yet another example of the show's status as a technology window for the region's expanding power sector," said Sarah Woodbridge, Project Manager, Power and Energy Division, IIR Exhibitions, which organises Middle East Electricity.
"Power conservation will be very much at the forefront of the show as countries throughout the region now look to meet soaring energy demand in the most cost-effective manner."
