Power cuts at RAK businesses

Power shortages in Ras Al Khaimah are forcing some shop and office owners to use generators. New buildings in Ras Al Khaimah city, and the Nakheel and Kharran areas, including a shopping mall, have suffered for almost a year without power, reports Khaleej Times. But officials at the Federation of Electricity and Water Authority said it is the local government's responsibility to provide electricity to new commercial buildings as it supplies only residential buildings.
