iPhone comes to the Middle East

Mobile telecom operator Orange has signed a deal with Apple to bring the iPhone to parts of the Middle East later this year. The deal covers Egypt and Jordan. Vodafone already has a contract to sell the iPhone in Egypt from later this year. Apple hopes such non-exclusive deals will help it sell 10 million iPhones by the end of 2008 around the world.
