Almost 400 photography enthusiasts and students availed of Canon's check and clean services provided by expert digital SLR technicians and engineers.
Canon professionals were also on hand to carry out minor repairs as well as provide expert advice on maintaining equipment and getting the most out of it.
In addition, more than 250 Gulf Photo Plus participants took advantage of the Eur600,000 worth of Canon equipment that was made available for use throughout the event.
Participants were loaned various pieces of state-of-the-art Canon equipment to experience a range of lenses ideal for a variety of subject matters such as photo journalism, portrait shots, sports and fashion photography.

This year, GPP brought 14 top international photographers to the Middle East and provided six full days of hands-on tutorials along with more than 50 workshops and lectures catering to all levels of photographic experience.
Canon was this year's official event printer and sponsor of video / movie weekend workshop and sponsor of the "Best Student" competition.
