Laila Ali bin Hareb, Director of Customer Service Centers Dep't, at RTA Corporate Support Services Sector, stated that RTA is always keen to utilize all efforts & resources to enrich the economy of the UAE in general.

'Lending support to Woman & Business Forum reflects the awareness of the importance of woman economic forums and their impact on business & economic activities, as well as their contribution towards realizing the objective of the RTA of involving all community sectors in the practical & academic fields.

'RTA assigns paramount importance to all issues related to woman, and in particular the immense contribution of women to the economic & social life' said Laila. She stressed the importance of empowering to exercise their acquired rights. 'Women are currently at the center stage of issues debated in every community, and these issues are automatically impacted by the nature of the prevailing economic system & community relations'.

'Throughout the history of mankind, it was women who were credited for leading development & renovation. Women are engaged in various activities, displaying tremendous confidence & capable of standing head to head with men.

Depending on creativity & innovation, women managed to excel and hold leadership positions as Ministers, teachers, engineers, and university professors as well as various other fields of investment, business, industry, trade, and government departments.

'Despite the changing economic & social environment in many countries, cultural legacy, traditions & norms do not change. Moreover, the low women representation at the national, regional & international decision-taking level reflects the obstacles in the path of women development. The cross links between cultural values and social traditions contributed to marginalizing women role in the communities. This vision, which is based on the physiological aspect of women, is reflected on the nature of jobs that women should have filled in the UAE' added Laila.
