Work Boat Gulf 2009 attracts strong interest
- Bahrain: Monday, May 05 - 2008 at 12:05
- PRESS RELEASE
Many of the world's leading designers, builders and suppliers of a wide range of equipment to work boats have already signed up for Work Boat Gulf 2009.
"While Bahrain is an important work and patrol boat centre in its own right, the fact that it is located right alongside Saudi Arabia's most important shipping and work boat centres is a huge added benefit," Mr Navani explained.
With the resources of Baird's Work Boat World magazine, which completely dominates the international work boat market, behind it, there is no doubt Work Boat Gulf will similarly dominate the market in the all important Gulf region.
The region's owners and operators of all kinds of work boats from ferries to tugs, offshore
service vessels to patrol boats, and construction vessels to fishing boats, will all be very well aware of the attractions of Work Boat Gulf.
Already, frequent Baird Events sponsor ZF Marine the world's leading transmission manufacturer has agreed to sponsor the event.
They have been joined by two top local companies Arab Ship Repair Yard (ASRY) and Zamil Shipyard, a major operator in both Bahrain and Saudi Arabia.
Many other industry associations and leading international marine publishers have agreed to participate in Work Boat Gulf as supporters.
