- PRESS RELEASE
Aiming to educate the children in Egypt about the Olympic Games and adhering to its commitment to promote active lifestyles, McDonald's Egypt launched the Champion Kids program.
"Our social responsibility and commitment towards the wellbeing of our children in Egypt lead us to initiate unique programs that can effectively influence them and encourage them to adopt active lifestyles. The McDonald's Champion Kids program coincides with this vision, and possesses a strong potential to achieve these supreme objectives," said Mohamed Mansour, McDonald's Egypt General Manager.
Champion Kids leaflets with information about the Olympic Committees and the Arab achievements in the Olympic Games will be available in all McDonald's Egypt stores. The leaflets will also include a detachable section with questions on the mentioned information. Children will have to answer the questions and deliver them to the McDonald's Store Manager and the names with the correct answers will enter a draw to determine the two winners.
"McDonald's Champions Kids is part of McDonald's sponsorship for the Olympic games. We would like to thank our local partners and the Egyptian National Olympic Committee, for their relentless efforts for making our program a success," said Mr. Mohamed Mansour.
The draw will take place in the Egyptian National Olympic Committee (ENOC) on Tuesday, May 20th under the committee's auspices.
