Having run for its second consecutive year, Cityscape Abu Dhabi 2008 saw the participation of 25 000 exhibitors from over 23 countries, facilitating billions of dollars' worth of business transactions as well as giving visitors and exhibitors alike the opportunity to explore a host of real estate options both locally and internationally.

Dr Omar Al Mushaabi, Managing Director of the SIC, said,

'Cityscape Abu Dhabi was yet another resounding success for us in terms of both, the promotion of the SIC project as well as exploring future possibilities. We were inundated with enquiries from investors looking to buy into the Business Park portion of the SIC, as well as receiving tremendously positive responses to our promotion of the staff accommodation plots made available for sale during the exhibition.'

'The business park plots were the main seller at this exhibition, and investors had many questions regarding building specifications, floor restrictions, design characteristics, and so forth,' Al Mushaabi added.

The master developer of the SIC project, SNASCO, recently announced plans to expand its operations into the UAE's capital, which has been enjoying a healthy rate of growth. Abu Dhabi is responsible for most of the country's oil production and is also becoming increasingly popular among property investors.
