With the consumers' increasing sophistication, HP is working closer with its retailers to provide better experiences that satisfy its customers on a store level. From offering the right product at the right place with the right surrounding, to shelving strategies, color codes, value packs and promotional interactive stands, HP has been a leader in enhancing the in-store customer experience.
"Without retail, neither HP nor customers would be where they are now. Every second, somewhere on the planet, a consumer buys a HP product through the retail channel, either online or in more than 110,000 retail outlets worldwide," said Sherifa Hady, Consumer Business Manager, Imaging and Printing Group, HP Middle East.
"Much like consumer electronics, IT products have been gaining mass acceptance and retail is the environment that helped form a strong connection between our solutions and consumers, it helped also showcase to consumer the choice they have and highlight the strength of our technology."
"DCC gives us an opportunity not only to keep retailers up to date on our retail strategy and current products, but it also gives us the chance to meet and exchange ideas with both existing and potential new retail partners."
HP is also nominated in three categories of the Middle East Retail Academy Awards that will be announced during the gala dinner at DCC. These include Desktop/Notebooks Retail Vendor of the Year, Middle East Retail Overall Vendor of the Year and Mr. Wael El Chami from HP has been nominated for Retail Channel Manager of the Year.
"We are particularly proud that Wael El Chami's hard work has been recognised not only by the industry but also by his peers and wish him all the best of luck in the awards," added Sherifa Hady.
