Nuqul Group hosts seminar entitled 'The United Nations Global Impact, sharing experiences'

Nuqul Group and in coordination with The Jordanian National Commission for Women hosted a seminar entitled 'UN Global Compact, Sharing experiences'.
Secretary General, Mrs. Asma Khader, welcomed everyone and highlighted the topic of gender mainstreaming in the public life and the role of the private sector in merging this concept.
Vice Chairman of Nuqul Group, Mr. Ghassan Nuqul, welcomed attendees and emphasized the importance of developing the human resource asset in addition to investing in long-term relationships to better serve the community.

Our commitment to the community drives us to tailor programs and campaigns aimed at empowering less privileged citizens, supported by our employees and their active participation.
Nuqul Group also presented its Corporate Social Responsibility initiative involving the adoption of "Tubnah Village" in al Koura district, and the formulation of programs for community development.
The presentation also focused on the role of Elia Nuqul Foundation in the sustainable development of the community and the Group's commitment towards the United Nations Global Compact.
On the other hand the CEO of Talal Abu Ghazaleh Organization, Mr. Mustafa Naser Al Deen, shared the experience of the Jordanian companies and their commitment towards the Global Compact with the focus on Corporate Social Responsibility.
Mr. Eric Dziedzic, from the renowned international company, Novo Nordisk, talked about the Danish experience regarding gender equality.
At the end of the session each company shared its experience to enhance the partnership between the private sector and civil society organizations.
The seminar was held as part of the Gender Mainstreaming project which is being executed by the Jordanian National Commission for Women in cooperation with the Ministry of Labour and the Ministry of Planning representing the public sector and Nuqul Group representing the private sector; with the main objective of increasing women's participation in different sectors.
